Is this a WhatsApp chatbot or booking service?
No. It is a notification service that turns selected iCabbi booking events into approved WhatsApp passenger updates.
Who pays WhatsApp message charges?
Your company pays Meta directly using the payment method on its own Meta account. TaxiApps does not resell messages or add a margin to Meta’s usage charges.
What is included in the TaxiApps fee?
The £25 setup and £5 weekly software fee cover onboarding, the secure iCabbi connection, message processing, approved-template delivery and reporting. Prices exclude VAT.
Do passengers need to opt in?
Yes. Operators must collect an appropriate WhatsApp opt-in and maintain their privacy information and suppression process before notifications are sent.
